Fishing Contest

Ideal conditions prevailed for the newly-formed Tatapouri Fishing Club's first contest, in which 26 boats took part.

At the weigh-in, Mr Ray Webb took the prize for the heaviest fish, a 43lb shark, while Messrs B. Card and E. Hart won the section for the best boat average.
