Producer of the Tolaga Bay Page, Mr W. N. Spence, is resigning from the Post Office after nine years' service to take a position as photographer with "Gisborne Photo News" in the New Year.
Married recently at the All Saints' Church, Tokomaru Bay, were Connie O'Brian, second daughter of Mr and Mrs H. O'Brian, Huiarua Station, and Mervyn Douglas Utting, second son of Mr and Mrs G. C. Utting, Waimata.
Providing plenty of laughs was "One Wild Oat", a play reading by the Tolaga Bay Little Theatre in the Community Centre. Pictured at the reading are: (left) Messrs P. Hutchinson and J. Scott, and Mrs D. Sherriff and Miss L. Frith.
