Pottery Exhibition

To cater for the increasing popularity of pottery in Gisborne, the Art Society staged an exhibition of pottery and ceramics in the Art Gallery, Stout Street.

Included in the display, which featured works of some of New Zealand's top potters, were products of a local group which has developed over the past three years at Lytton High School evening classes.

A large crowd of Art Society members attended a preview of the exhibition where these pictures were taken.
