Intermediate School Sports

The Gisborne Intermediate School's annual sports day saw one record broken, the junior girls' 75 yard sprint, in which Susan Tuhaka and Margaret Campbell led the field home into a brisk head wind for a new time of 10sec. Susan was officially placed first, with Margaret a very close second.

The outstanding boy athlete was Mark Wilkinson who won every event except the high jump to become junior boys' champion.
