Two pedigree dogs, a Shetland sheep dog, owned by Mr R. T. Harding, president P.B. Kennel Club, and a Pekinese, owned by Mr J. Mitchell, an international all-breed judge formerly of England and now of Te Karaka, were recently flown to Gisborne from Sydney. Mr Harding's sons David (left) and Ian are shown with the dogs at N.A.C.

Mr Peter Wooller (right) recently took delivery of his new furniture removal truck from Mr Jim McCullough, who had built the large closed-in tray body.

Mr Bob Kennedy (right), who has been a member of the P.B. Cricket Association for 12 years, including a term as chairman, is congratulated on his retirement from the association by the new chairman, Mr Noel Ensor.

The N.Z.B.C. Symphony Orchestra gave a one-night concert in the Gisborne Opera House last month. Its performance was attended by about 600 music lovers.
