Two N.A.C. air hostesses, both formerly of Gisborne, Misses Lee Jackson (left) and Robyn Stewart, have been selected to spend several weeks in Europe next February flying the K.L.M. Royal Dutch Airlines. The girls are being exchanged for two Dutch hostesses, who will fly with N.A.C.

Darryl White, 10-year-old son of Mr and Mrs K. R. White, 522 Aberdeen Road, being farewelled by his parents at Darton Field as he leaves on a complimentary trip to Mangere to receive a 75min flight in an Air N.Z. D.C.8 as a consolation prize in the "Colour the Jet" competition. Darryl also had a recent success in the N.Z.B.C.'s children's art competition when his painting was one of 12 selected from the 10,000 entries to be displayed in Japan.

Raymond Weir, 13 Oman Road, displays a freak kidney-shaped egg laid by one of his 12 hens. The egg had no yolk.
