The Gisborne branch of the Victoria League recently played host to elderly folk in the district at an afternoon tea party at Ulverstone. The event was the league's annual Old Folks' Day. Mrs J. Thirty-three members and friends of the Hard of Hearing League took a two-day bus tour round the East Coast-Eastern Bay of Plenty scenic route last month.
