"The Merry Widow"

The Gisborne Operatic Society's annual production this year will be Franz Letter's "The Merry Widow", and will take the Opera House stage next Saturday afternoon for the first of an eight performance (one week) season.

Produced by Mrs Lynda Hastings, with Regency Blair as ballet mistress, the musical show has a cast of 60.

The leading roles are played by Jenny Glover as Madam Glavari (the Merry Widow), and Revel Rice as Count Danilo.
