At a recent meeting of the Cook County Council the contract for the council's new £78,500 building was signed by the chairman, Mr W. V. Clarke, and Mr P. Lomas, on behalf of the builders, Story and Lomas Ltd. Looking on at rear are, from left: Messrs R. K. Gardiner (county clerk), J. C. Corson (architect), of Glengarry, Corson, and Pilbrow, and E. S.
