Two of 120 American clergymen who will be coming to New Zealand for the "Trans-Pacific Crusade", the Rev Don Shockley (left), of Wayne City, Illinois, and Dr Felton H. Griffin, of Anchorage, Alaska, will be crusading at Gisborne's Central and Te Hapara Baptist churches from September 12th to 26th.

Three Gisborne bandsmen who are members of the Band of the New Zealand Army are, from left: Roger Carter, Drum Major Barrie Flint, and Hilton Adcroft. Messrs Flint and Adcroft will be leaving New Zealand shortly for a tour of duty in Malaysia with 1 Battalion, R.N.Z.I.R.
