Catholic Presentation Ball

Seventeen debutantes were presented to the Most Rev R. J. Delargey, D.D., Auxiliary Bishop of Auckland, in a graceful and moving ceremony at the eleventh annual Catholic Ball.

Held in the War Memorial Hall on a recent Friday night, the ball was attended by a capacity crowd.

Following the presentation ceremony, the debutantes danced their specially arranged waltz with their escorts, and then formed a guard of honour for His Lordship to present them with their souvenir programmes.
