Cheeseman Singers

The Oswald Cheeseman Singers, famed for their New Zealand television appearances, thrilled a large audience in the Opera House this month when they visited Gisborne as part of their first tour of the country.

Four of the group, dressed in minstrel costumes, are pictured singing negro spiritual and folk songs.
