Te Karaka Xmas Carnival

Hundreds of Te Karaka residents turned out on sunny Saturday to attend their annual Christmas Carnival in the Recreation Ground.

Organised by the Te Karaka and District Citizens' Association, the carnival was preceded by a parade through the town of decorated vehicles.

At the carnival, the local Fire Brigade gave an impressive demonstration, which was followed by the arrival of Father Christmas with hundreds of gifts for the children.
