Dr and Mrs G. E. Ham, of Lake Jackson, Texas, U.S.A., with their daughters, Sandra and Carol who will be visiting Gisborne next month. Mrs Ham (formerly Pat Barker, of. 30 Bayly Street) and her two children will arrive in Gisborne in December. She will be joined later by her husband for a tour of the South Island, and will return to the city in January before leaving for home.

Tracy Jane Curtiss, daughter of Doug and Pat Curtiss, formerly of 23 Dalrymple Road and now of Wainui-o-mata, who was a finalist in the "Baby of the Year" contest held in Wellington recently. Her father, a former vehicle inspector in Gisborne, is. now a tutor at the Wellington Polytechnic College.

Mrs Vida Putnam (nee Dunshea), of Northern New York, U.S.A., pictured with her mother, Mrs M. Swainson, 106 Clifford Street, during a recent visit to her home town last month. Married in Gisborne, Mrs Putnam and her husband moved to America 19 years ago. They have four children.
