A milestone was reached at the Tokomaru Bay wharf recently when motor trucks were used on the wharf for the first time. They were discharging bulk maize. On hand to see the event were, from left: A. A helicopter was engaged to help with erosion control in the Tauwhareparae area recently. It is pictured loading some of the 1200 poplar poles it carried in less than an hour and a half.
