Intel-School Soccer

Sports teams from the Gisborne Boys' High School recently played Napier Boys' High School teams in the annual inter-school winter sports tournament.

The soccer, hockey, and indoor basketball matches were played in Gisborne, while the two rugby games were staged at Napier.

Gisborne won both the soccer and the First XV rugby, but lost the other three games.

The soccer match at the Childers Road Reserve proved to be a lively encounter, the home side winning by three goals to nil.
