Boys' Brigade Cycle Rally

Forty-two Boys' Brigade members recently took part in a cycle rally held over a 14¼-mlle course from the Army Hall, along Riverside Road to Longbush, and back to town via the Matokitoki Valley Road.

The rally was the first to be held for five years, and required the boys to mend punctures and answer questions as well as completing the course.

Before starting, each competitor had his cycle examined by Mr Noel Petherick, who also donated the prizes for the winners.
