N.Z. Cricketer Comes To Gisborne

New Zealand cricketer John Guy, formerly of Blenheim, has been transferred to Gisborne as a representative of the Shell Oil Company.

First representing New Zealand more than ten years ago, the 29-year-old left-hand batsman will play for the H.S.O.B. club next season.

He is pictured holding a miniature souvenir cricket bat of his 1962-63 tour of South Africa, on which are inscribed the signatures of the members of the team.
