Marumaru School Jubilee

Past pupils of the Marumaru School gathered at their former place of education to celebrate the school's 50th jubilee on a recent Saturday.

Present at the function were six first-day pupils and the original school secretary, Mr H. H. Lyall.

The jubilee cake was cut by Mrs W. Maxwell (nee Maud Kent), of Frasertown, and Mr Herbert Kent, of Marumaru. They are brother and sister, who both started at the school on its first day.
