Royal Entertainers

The Waihirere Maori Club, which has been selected to represent the Maori people of New Zealand by entertaining the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at their official welcome to New Zealand at Waitangi, Bay of Islands, early in February, held their first dress rehearsal in the War Memorial Hall recently.

Following the rehearsal, a panel of local Maori leaders advised and criticised their performance.
