Among farewells tendered to Mrs Winnie Thomson was one given by Gisborne dance musicians and the staff of Low's reception rooms recently, when Mrs Thomson was presented with a handsome manicure set and trinket box. At right are Mr W. Newcomb, who made the presentation, Mrs Thomson, and Mr Cyril Low. Mrs Thomson has been playing for functions in the district for 42 years.
