Mercantile Relay

A big crowd turned out to see the Gisborne Swimming Club Mercantile relay at the Macrae Bath on a fine warm night. Over-handicapping eliminated most of the best teams, but their times indicated that there is plenty of talent around town which is not in the club membership ranks. Hospital A emerged the victors from the large field with the fairly good time of 58sec.
