Now that the sun's out again, let's take another look at our cover girls. With our formal picture duly taken, they could hardly wait to get into that cool Waikanae surf, almost stilled on this now hot afternoon. The life-savers are cruising offshore on their surf boats, but first (above) the girls take a brisk run in the shallow water to give the camera a striking shot. But not as striking as the spine-tingling effect of a breaker in the back of the neck.
