Mrs Julia Patterson, of 39 Disraeli St., who celebrated her 98th birthday recently, when she was the recipient of greetings from many parts of New Zealand. Mrs Patterson, who is remarkably active for her age, still enjoys a walk in the botanical gardens near her home.
