On December 4, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Janet Kay Atkinson, twin daughter of Mr and Mrs J. L. Atkinson, 31 De Lautour Road, Gisborne, to Sidney Ewart Shapley, second son of Mr and Mrs S. S. Shapley, of Whakatane. The couple will make their new home in Whakatane. The bride, who was formerly with Messrs Common Shelton's at Gisborne, is a top-ranking badminton & tennis player.

Warner, Auckland (late of Gisborne). The bride was formerly secretary to Dr. Russell at Cook Hospital, and the groom is storeman-clerk at the hospital. Both are keen golfers, and the groom is a well-known member of the Marist Football Club. Their future home will be in Gisborne.
