×

In Mangapapa, on the banks of the Tarnhern opposite the hospital, a start has been made by local builders with the first of some hundreds of State houses which will be built there. It is understood that the settlement may eventually number up to about 400 bouses, which will probably be built at the standard rate for Gisborne of about 40 per year.
