Mr R. N. Grono, newly appointed headmaster of the Gisborne Intermediate School, snapped at his office desk. Mr Grono was formerly headmaster of the Te Karaka District High School, and more recently was principal of the Christchurch South Intermediate School. He has had long experience of intermediate school work.
