Our girl on the cover this month is Hilary Debden-Wilkins, of Auckland and, Wairoa, who ought to go a long way in ballet. She won the G.C.S. cup for Junior Dancing ChampionShip, the Bobbie Scott Trophy for 4 set dances, the Isobel Sharples Cup for junior competitor most deserving of encouragement, and the Elvira Courtney Rose Bowl for the open test dance.

Valerie Illingworth (Junior Vocal Scholarship, Society's cap for Junior Vocal Championship) and Allan Illingworth (Elliott Memorial Challenge Cup for local boy most deserving of encouragement, vocal under 16) (both of Gisborne).

Julie Sparks (Hastings) (National Dancing Championship under 15, Society's Cup; P.B. and East Coast Championship Sword Dance, open; P.B. and East Coast Championship Sailor's Hornpipe, 12 years to 15).

Jill Candy (Gisborne) (Miss Helen Dykes Silver Medal for runner-up, song in costume, 10 years to 12).

Noelene Pryde (Whakatane) (Mrs M. B. Taylor's Rotorua Waltz Clog Shield for winner of Waltz Clog, 9 to 12; P.B. and East Coast Championship Irish Jig, under 12).

Barbara Hodgson (Gisborne) (Mr and Mrs L. Mawson's special prize for most promising competitor in vocal section under 20 years).

Margaret Gorton (Napier) (Adrienne Finch Challenge Cup, most marks in one of two stipulated elocution classes).

Kerren McMurray (Mrs J. Turnwald's medal for 2nd in Margaret Goodyear Memorial Challenge Cup).

Gail Griffin (Marjorie Harper School of Dancing trophy for youngest placed competitor in Fancy Dancing.)

Regency Blair (Ella Randle Cup for most points in 4 stipulated dances; dancing scholarship under 15).

Diane Pickett (Miss Helen Dykes Cup for Song in Costume, 10 to 12; Almadale Challenge Cup, Junior Elocution Test).

Gillian Nigro, Janet Parker, Anne Taylor, Ian Lee (Parker School of National Dancing) (Mr C. King's Cup for winners Irish or Scottish National Group Dance open). Anne Taylor won the Johnstone Challenge Cup for most points, championship basis, local competitor.
