Mr G. T. Muirhead (at left) and helpers were at work on a recent Sunday morning patching up the front of Mr Muirhead's cycle shop on the corner of Gladstone Road and Derby Street. No, it wasn't a burglar who had broken in, but a car driven by Mr L. A. Sullivan, which, turning into Derby Street towards Childers Road, got out of control and ran into the shop. Mr Sullivan had to be taken to hospital for treatment. The car was badly damaged. Others in picture are Mr Jim Taylor, Mrs Muirhead, and Mr Bert Hanlon.
