Archdeacon and Mrs A. F. Hall, who have left Gisborne to reside in Paeroa, in the diocese of Waikato. Archdeacon Hall has been in charge of the Gisborne parish for the past 22 years. Of recent years he has indicated a desire to relinquish his position here, with its increasing duties, and his transfer to a smaller and quieter parish was taken on medical advice. In their years in Gisborne, Archdeacon & Mrs Hall made many friends and took an active part in community and church life. (Photo E. T. Doddrell.)
