Gisborne has some fine films coming in the next few weeks —and not the least of these is one of Britain's best and funniest for many a day, "The Captain's Paradise", in which Alec Guinness keeps Wife No. 1 (Celia Johnson) in one port, and Wife No. 2 (Yvonne de Carlo) in the other—and spends alternate nights with them. At left, the captain goes to town with Yvonne at one of the local nightclubs.

The Academy-Award-winning film "From Here to Eternity", is due here soon. It has won more awards than any other film ever made, and was unanimous choice for "Best Film of 1953".
