Awapuni lost three of its staff members at the end of the first term. From lefts The headmaster, Mr Selwyn Wood, who has been in charge of the school for four years, will be headmaster at Seatoun School at Wellington. He was president of the Gisborne Repertory Society. Miss V. Clover, infant mistress, who is retiring after 34 years in the profession. Mrs S.Eaton, who is leaving to teach at Havelock.
