Iron Duke Jubilee: A Weekend to Remember

The Iron Duke Sea Scout Troop celebrated its 50th anniversary during Labour Weekend and many former members of the troop attended. A full weekend's activities were organised by the jubilee committee, ranging from a regatta to a cabaret, A highlight for many older members was a visit to Haulashore Island, for the unveilling of a plaque in memory of many hours spent under canvas on the island, and, of course, there were quite a few convivial gallons consumed.
