Hundreds of residents, aided by "Operation Goodwill" volunteers, have cleared the rubble and silt from their properties after the flooding in the Nile Street area. This picture takes in the area worst affected, with Hanby Park just out of the picture at bottom left, Cleveland Terrace at top left, down which gully most of the flood waters came.
