Wearied by the long wait to first light, the duck shooter falls asleep in his mia mia and dreams he is surrounded by ducks, hundreds of them. Then the dream turns into a nightmare. He's sitting, with shotgun, boots and decoys, in Queen's Gardens, feeding the ducks, who flee to the sanctuary of the gardens even before the first shot is fired.
