Old Folks Entertained

Old folks of Gisborne, who were over 65 years of age, or who had been In residence In Gisborne for more than 40 years, were entertained by the Victoria League at a function at the War Manorial Hall recently.

The programme, which included humorous items and sketches, with the guests often taking part, was compered by Mr Bill Keany.

During the after-noon, the oldest in age and in residence, were presented with a small gift by the president of the Victoria League, Miss N. Cotterill.
