New Citizens

Gisborne gained 16 new citizens when the fourth naturalisation ceremony was held in the City Council chambers this month.

One of those applying for naturalisation had already been in Gisborne for upwards of 45 years, but many others were of more recent arrival.

Eight applicants were Dutch, one was a Pole, and the remainder were Chinese.
